For my first official introduction video, I decided to make a visit to the Stuttgart City Library. I’ll take a second now to explain what brought this video about, the content itself, and my future plans for the series.
Firstly, I was inspired to finally create this video after words from a friend of mine. He told me he had a better idea of what I do after posting a before & after image on my Facebook. Having taken the photo myself, it then became clear to me how little people must actually understand of what I do. And that’s not their fault- it’s mine for not more clearly sharing with others the hard work that goes into creating photographs like mine. That’s why I decided to create more content from my workflow, and this is the the official beginning.
In the video itself, I take a short day-trip to my local library; the Stuttgart Stadtbibliothek. This center of knowledge might be one of the most beautiful facilities I have ever seen. I explain my thought process behind some rather typical, yet beautiful shots and show you how similar images can be captured.
Lastly, the future: Creating this introductory video was great fun, and I don’t plan on stopping. In fact, I’ve taken the leap of purchasing a camera with 360 degree capabilities in anticipation of unique content. I fully expect to continue sharing experiences, lessons, and adventures with the world.
I look forward to bringing you closer to a life abroad!
